Cyber Security Analyst – Incident Response Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our expanding cyber security function. The role will focus on leading incident response, supporting service delivery and enhancing our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cyber incident response from detection through to recovery.
• Act as an escalation point for analysts and support service delivery.
• Review and validate vulnerabilities, ensuring risks are properly understood and managed.
• Produce clear, insightful reporting for customers and senior stakeholders.
• Work with our SOC provider to ensure alerts and threats are effectively handled.
• Develop and improve cyber response plans and runbooks.
• Support governance activities.
• Provide expert input into projects, tooling, and security architecture.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• Experience in cyber security within a complex or multi‑tenant environment.
• Strong incident response and security operations experience.
• Confidence working with tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Qualys or Tenable.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management and risk frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical risks into clear business‑focused language.
• Experience supporting or mentoring others within a team.
• Calm, analytical approach, especially under pressure.
