Cyber Security Consultant - Infrastructure Security

About the role

IBM CIC is looking for a Senior Security Consultant specializing in Infrastructure Security. You will work with public and private sector clients across the UK to secure hybrid‑cloud and on‑premise environments, applying zero‑trust principles and industry frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments, workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Identify vulnerabilities and design remediation plans.
• Develop security roadmaps and incident‑response strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Advise clients on zero‑trust architectures, cloud, network and operating‑system security.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to implement resilient security solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure and hybrid‑cloud security consulting.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate technical findings into business‑focused recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing workshops and presentations.
