D365 F&O Functional Consultant – Finance / SCM

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to support the global deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across a complex international manufacturing environment. The role bridges business users, internal IT teams and external implementation partners, delivering finance and supply‑chain solutions that add real business value.

Key responsibilities

• Support the global rollout of D365 Finance & Operations across multiple regions and business units.
• Own, refine and apply global process blueprints for Finance and/or Supply Chain.
• Run workshops with local teams, gather requirements and support solution design.
• Validate solutions, challenge unnecessary customisation and ensure alignment with the global template.
• Perform hands‑on D365 configuration, functional validation and support testing, UAT, cut‑over and hyper‑care activities.
• Promote process standardisation, continuous improvement and knowledge transfer to reduce reliance on external partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics and related functions.
• Ensure governance, documentation and delivery standards are followed throughout each deployment.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Functional depth in D365 Finance, D365 Supply Chain, or a blend of both.
• Proven experience delivering ERP deployments in multi‑site, complex environments.
• Good understanding of business processes in Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics or Trade.
• Experience running workshops, gathering requirements and supporting business users through change.
• Ability to work effectively between business stakeholders, IT teams and third‑party implementation partners.

What we offer

• Salary range £75,000 – £100,000 per year plus bonus.
