Data Administrator

About the role

The Data Administrator will support a leading utilities service provider by reviewing data from underground logging equipment to identify potential leaks in the water network. This role ensures that field teams receive accurate information to locate and resolve issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Review all data received from logging equipment and devices deployed in the field.
• Issue Noise Logging packs for Logging Technicians and Supervisors.
• Adhere to deadlines for suspected leak investigation procedures.
• Produce follow‑up packs containing relevant information for data investigation.
• Maintain and update trackers and the in‑house system.
• Liaise with Analysts, Logging Supervisors, and Technicians to coordinate work and reporting.
• Attend logging meetings and training sessions as required.
• Maintain and update the asset list for the area.
• Raise concerns or improvement suggestions with the Logging Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of best practices for data capture and management.
• Good problem‑solving ability and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet targets.
