Data Analyst – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Data Analyst to join Albany Beck’s finance‑focused transformation team. The role sits at the intersection of data, product and systems analysis, supporting financial services clients in improving core business systems, reporting and data‑driven initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and enhancement of internal finance and operational systems.
• Assist with data analysis, reporting and investigation activities to inform business decisions.
• Gather requirements and understand operational processes together with business and technology stakeholders.
• Contribute to transformation and change initiatives, including process‑improvement activities.
• Produce and maintain reports, dashboards and management information (MI).
• Perform data validation and quality‑assurance checks across reporting outputs.
• Document business processes, requirements and system updates.
• Support testing activities for system enhancements and implementations.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to existing processes and workflows.
• Ensure all activities comply with governance and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Collaborative, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within analysis, systems or change‑focused roles.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Financial Services industry.
