Data & Analytics Analyst – Wholesaler Sales (Interim)

About the role

We are seeking an interim Data & Analytics Analyst to unlock the value of wholesaler and customer sales data for the UK business of a leading global ice‑cream brand. Working in a fast‑paced FMCG environment, you will connect multiple data sources, transform raw sales information and deliver actionable insights that drive commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Connect and consolidate wholesaler sales data from EPOS, shipment/sell‑in, CRM and partner systems.
• Use Databricks to query, combine and transform large‑scale sales datasets.
• Collaborate with data engineers to onboard new wholesale partners and maintain data pipelines.
• Ensure accurate mapping of SKU, customer and channel data.
• Validate and sense‑check incoming data for quality and consistency.
• Act as a Power BI super‑user to design and maintain dashboards for sales, account management and operations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling large sales datasets.
• Proven ability to work closely with data engineers and cross‑functional teams.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
