Data & Analytics Engineer (Model Factory)

About the role

You will work on the Model Factory, building the data and analytics systems underneath it such as the agent trajectory store, experiment configuration registry, and experiment metrics. You will collaborate directly with researchers to understand their experiments and workflows, improving data and analytics to accelerate model development. The team works on greenfield projects and extends existing systems for larger scale, higher reliability, and demanding performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the data and analytics systems of the Model Factory.
• Own the entire data lifecycle of experiment data, including modelling, ingestion, retrieval, query, analysis, and retention.
• Partner closely with researchers to ensure data and analytics solutions meet their workflow needs.

Required profile

• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages.
• Proven experience building and operating distributed systems at scale, with knowledge of consistency models, queue/stream processing, and data pipelines.
• Production experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and observability systems.
• Ability to lead ambiguous, cross‑functional initiatives, building alignment and driving progress.
