Data Architect – Hybrid/Flexible

About the role

An established, forward‑thinking organisation is looking for a Data Architect to join its high‑performing Architecture & Strategy function. You will shape enterprise‑wide data architecture, ensuring scalable, secure and future‑ready solutions that support critical business operations and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the organisation's data architecture framework.
• Design and integrate data solutions across multiple platforms and systems.
• Lead data modelling, data flows, and system interoperability initiatives.
• Drive best practice in data governance, metadata, and quality standards.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and business teams to deliver value.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data management standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or senior data‑focused role.
• Strong background in data modelling, integration, and architecture frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, enterprise architecture principles and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly.
