Data Quality & Preparation Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Data Quality & Preparation Specialist to join Athlon’s Asset Management team in Milton Keynes. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, integrity and readiness across multiple systems, supporting internal reporting and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage team enquiries, provide accurate information and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date data across various systems, including agreements, discounts and market information.
• Prepare and organise data for internal reporting, discussions and reviews.
• Upload, validate and perform four‑eyes checks on manufacturer discount data.
• Maintain records on vehicle technologies, engine developments and cost drivers.
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting through data extraction, validation, cleansing and formatting.
• Prepare and validate external data submissions such as CAP‑HPI reporting.
• Ensure vehicle classifications align with market conditions and defined criteria.
• Gather, verify and cross‑reference data from internal and external sources.
• Assist with ad‑hoc data projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Uphold data quality controls and support financial risk management.
