Data Scientist (SC Cleared) – £600-£700 per day

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with Security Clearance (SC) to join a high‑impact programme delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions in a secure, regulated environment. The role is hybrid, with an initial onsite presence of 2‑3 days per week, moving to roughly one week per month after onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy machine‑learning and AI models in production.
• Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns and business opportunities.
• Prepare, cleanse and engineer data for advanced analytics.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and optimise continuously.
• Create visualisations and presentations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts and business users throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce technical documentation and model artefacts.
• Support testing, validation and ongoing improvement of solutions.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑ready machine‑learning models.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets in a regulated environment.

Required skills

• Python for data science and analytics.
• Machine‑learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Statistical modelling and predictive analytics.
• Data preparation, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Data visualisation and presentation skills.
