Data Skills Coach (Expression of Interest)

About the role

Babington is seeking experienced data professionals to join as a Skills Coach – Data. In this role you will mentor and coach learners throughout the Business Data Essentials programme, helping them build confidence and capability in data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and mentor learners to progress, achieve outcomes and prepare for End‑Point Assessment.
• Deliver engaging one‑to‑one and virtual group learning sessions.
• Conduct skills‑gap analyses and create personalised learning plans.
• Support formative and summative assessments in collaboration with specialist trainers.
• Maintain accurate learner records to meet quality and funding requirements.
• Promote Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Health & Safety.
• Embed Maths and English into learning delivery where appropriate.
• Liaise effectively with employers and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• GCSE Grade A‑C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant industry experience in data roles.
