Data Specialist – French Language Research

About the role
This position focuses on researching, analysing, and maintaining global mergers and acquisitions data sourced from French-language disclosures, regulatory filings, news articles and transaction information. The specialist will ensure the accuracy, timeliness and quality of Moody's proprietary databases.
Key responsibilities
- Research and capture M&A transaction data from publicly available French-language sources.
- Validate, interpret and enter data into large, real‑time datasets.
- Maintain and update Moody's global M&A database to meet productivity targets.
- Collaborate with data teams to improve processes using AI tools.
- Monitor data quality and resolve inconsistencies promptly.
Required profile
- Strong reading comprehension in French and English.
- Advanced German reading proficiency (CEFR B2‑C1).
- Excellent research, analytical and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
- Organisational and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Interest in AI concepts and responsible AI practices.
