Data Transformation Analyst – Pricing

About the role

The Data Transformation Analyst will support the Actuarial Pricing team in delivering strategic projects, model development and pricing analytics. Working closely with BI developers, underwriters and senior actuaries, you will help migrate pricing models from Excel to the RuleBook cloud platform and ensure data quality across pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the transformation of pricing models from Excel to RuleBook, clarifying functionality and conducting end‑to‑end user testing.
• Provide ad‑hoc technical support to underwriters for RuleBook issues and route tickets to the appropriate teams.
• Produce and test pricing data extracts, build data pipelines, generate data dictionaries and migrate historical pricing data.
• Validate scraped data, prepare it for underwriting sign‑off and load it into target databases.
• Create real‑time pricing insight dashboards using Excel and PowerBI, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation.

Required profile

• Strong technical data development background with the ability to translate business needs into developer specifications.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, capable of supporting multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset to work with underwriting teams, BI developers and actuarial staff.
