Day Concierge - Residential Building, Tower Hamlets

About the role

A busy residential development in Tower Hamlets, East London is looking for a Day Concierge to work Monday to Friday, 12pm to 8pm, for up to £28,500 per annum. The concierge is the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, keeping the reception running smoothly and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities

• Welcome residents, guests and visitors and deal with enquiries in person and by phone
• Provide assistance to residents and visitors where required
• Monitor building security, including CCTV, and help manage car parking
• Carry out regular patrols of the building and report faults or security concerns
• Record and report incidents, complaints and health and safety issues, and act in an emergency
• Manage keys and record all issues and returns
• Receive and securely store deliveries, parcels and registered mail, keep accurate records and obtain signatures on collection
• Notify residents when deliveries arrive and arrange collection from reception
• Keep the reception area professional and welcoming

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential property or hospitality
• Experience dealing with contractors and overseeing maintenance or building works
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good understanding of health and safety, fire safety and building security
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Friendly, approachable manner and proactive attitude
