Trainee Property Manager

About the role

Living Markets, part of LRG, is recruiting a Trainee Property Manager for its Corporate Lettings team at the Camberley headquarters. The role manages a portfolio of properties for a corporate landlord and supports the Property Manager Team Leader and the wider team. It is a hybrid position with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage property tenancies from move-in to move-out, keeping them in line with landlord instructions
• Coordinate inspections, safety checks, repairs and maintenance works
• Liaise with landlords, tenants, managing agents, contractors and internal teams
• Handle tenancy renewals, extensions, notices, rent reviews and deposit releases
• Respond to tenant and property issues, including emergencies and legal notices
• Handle internal and external complaints promptly and professionally
• Oversee invoices, utility updates, landlord queries and service charges
• Conduct site visits and ensure properties stay compliant with regulations
• Support the onboarding of managed properties and maintain industry qualifications

Required profile

• Self-motivated and organised, able to use initiative to solve problems
• Exceptional customer service skills and effective verbal and written communication
• Some professional body training preferred, though full training and development is provided
• IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Home working available; occasional travel as required
