Deputy Manager - Oysho Store

About the role

Oysho, part of the Inditex Group, is hiring a Deputy Manager for its London store. You will support the General Manager in leading the store with ownership, pace and calm, delivering commercial performance, high standards and an exceptional customer experience. The role is fast-paced and detail-driven, with customer experience central, from the visual aesthetic and smooth store journey to expert product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Support the GM in delivering store performance through clear priorities, floor leadership and consistent follow-through.
• Use KPIs and store insight to act quickly and keep performance on track.
• Support commercial launches and ensure merchandising reflects best sellers, trends and customer demand.
• Maintain a calm, modern store environment with expert product knowledge and consistent customer readiness.
• Drive routines across stock flow, replenishment and stockroom organisation to keep availability.
• Maintain operational standards in security/shrinkage, cash procedures, health and safety, cleanliness and maintenance follow-up.
• Coach and motivate teams on shift, give regular feedback and address issues early and fairly.
• Support recruitment and onboarding, and contribute to succession planning and development plans.
• Support the planning and delivery of the hours budget, rotas and productivity targets.

Required profile

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence acting on the shop floor.
• Calm, clear leadership style able to motivate and align teams under pressure.
• Strong standards across operations (stock, shrinkage, cash, compliance).
• Strong customer focus and inclusive leadership, with ownership and integrity.
