About the role
We are seeking a Design Engineer to join a specialist aerospace manufacturer. The role supports tooling, CAD documentation and engineering processes within a highly regulated environment, ideal for an up‑and‑coming engineer with 2+ years’ experience.
Key responsibilities
- Design work (approximately 40% of time) focusing on aerospace tooling.
- Produce and maintain CAD documentation.
- Handle engineering administration and documentation tasks (approximately 60% of time).
- Support engineering processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in design or engineering.
- Background in engineering or manufacturing.
- Relevant qualification such as an apprenticeship, HNC, degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CAD software, preferably CATIA (any CAD package considered).
What we offer
- Salary between £35,000 and £45,000 per year.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Flexible hours with an early finish on Fridays.
