Design Engineer - Water Treatment Systems

About the role

Envirogen is looking for a Design Engineer to join its engineering operations, working on the design and optimisation of innovative water treatment systems. The role is based in Alfreton with a hybrid workplace and sits in the UK and Europe department. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to produce designs that meet environmental standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, perform calculations and generate specifications for a variety of projects.
• Take part in project discussions and give input on design feasibility and modifications.
• Ensure all designs are functional, safe and cost-effective.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably in the water or wastewater sector.
• Sound knowledge of engineering principles and design processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Autocad and Inventor are essential.
• SolidWorks is desirable.
