DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Specialist

About the role

You will work at the heart of the engineering function, enabling faster, more reliable software delivery through automation and DevOps best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment processes to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes to manage and scale containerised applications.
• Monitor system performance using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure issues, performance bottlenecks, and deployment challenges.
• Support testing automation and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to support build, release, and infrastructure requirements.
• Contribute to infrastructure optimisation, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments.
• Support best practices across security, high availability, and disaster recovery.

Required profile

• Experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
