DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract (up to $70/hr)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and offers flexible hours between 10 and 40 per week, with compensation ranging from $20 to $70 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP and Digital Ocean.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments.
• Build and maintain containerised applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana and centralized logging solutions.
• Manage access controls, IAM policies and secrets management to enforce security best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Linux system administration and fundamental networking concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (Digital Ocean, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of IAM principles, secrets management and security best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
