Diesel Fitter – Hydraulic & Pump Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join a specialist supplier of hydraulic and electric submersible pumps. Based in Exhall, you will work across our workshop and customer sites, handling diesel pump, gearbox and engine maintenance for a range of industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle, diagnose and re‑assemble diesel pumps, gearboxes and engines.
• Carry out repairs and overhauls in the workshop.
• Visit customer locations in Coventry and Birmingham for installations and breakdown call‑outs.
• Provide on‑site support according to the company rota.

Required profile

• Apprentice‑trained mechanical engineering background.
• Experience fitting diesel equipment, preferably in marine or HGV sectors.
• Based within a commutable distance to Exhall, Coventry.
• Valid full UK driving licence (non‑negotiable).
