Digicon Finishing Operator – Label Manufacturing

About the role

The Digicon Finishing Operator will work on a fast‑paced label manufacturing line, converting digitally printed label rolls into finished products. You will set up, run and maintain Digicon finishing equipment while ensuring quality standards and production schedules are met.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set up Digicon label finishing machinery.
• Prepare printed label rolls for finishing operations.
• Install and align rotary dies, varnish units and other finishing tooling.
• Adjust machine settings for accurate registration, tension and cutting quality.
• Monitor production runs, inspect finished labels and identify defects.
• Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain production records and job documentation.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and work to customer deadlines.

Required profile

• Experience operating label finishing, converting or print production equipment.
• Knowledge of die‑cutting, laminating, foiling, varnishing and slitting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
