Digital Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of website and digital experience projects for our integrated agency. Working hybrid from Manchester City Centre, you will act as the main client contact and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of web projects (new builds, re‑platforms, feature development and optimisation).
• Define project scope, deliverables and success criteria; manage change control throughout the lifecycle.
• Break work into user stories/tickets, maintain and prioritise the backlog with the development team.
• Build and manage delivery plans, timelines and milestone schedules; track progress, dependencies and resources.
• Run Agile/Kanban workflows including stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, creatives, UX and QA to ensure clear requirements, effective testing and quality outputs (including UAT coordination).
• Own RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) management.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering web projects with the ability to define scope and manage change.
• Minimum 2 + years in a digital/web project management role.
• Strong client‑management skills, able to run status updates and communicate risks clearly.
• Comfortable using project tools to break work into tickets, build timelines and manage milestones.
• Confident collaborating with developers, creatives and UX teams.
• Proficient in Agile delivery (Kanban) with strong organisation and attention to detail.
