About the role

The Direct Marketing Lead will spearhead the design and execution of targeted direct marketing campaigns for a charitable organisation. This role focuses on driving supporter engagement, increasing donations, and building long‑term relationships through innovative, data‑driven strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and launch direct marketing campaigns across mail, email and digital channels.
• Analyse performance metrics to refine messaging and maximise engagement.
• Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling content aligned with organisational goals.
• Manage supporter segmentation for personalised communications.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations throughout all marketing activities.
• Monitor industry trends and propose innovative approaches to reach audiences effectively.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading direct marketing campaigns in the charity or non‑profit sector.
• Strong understanding of traditional marketing materials such as print and mail.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret metrics and adjust strategies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑team collaboration.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for supporting charitable causes and delivering social impact.
