Director, European Reform & Policy Leadership

About the role

The Centre for European Reform is looking for a Director to provide intellectual leadership, drive fundraising and raise the think‑tank’s profile in European policy debates. Based in London, the role involves high‑visibility media appearances and participation in major conferences.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and oversee the Centre’s research agenda on European reform and policy.
• Lead the production of persuasive policy papers and briefing notes.
• Develop and manage fundraising strategies, cultivating relationships with donors and foundations.
• Represent the Centre with senior officials, media outlets and at high‑profile events.
• Mentor research staff and ensure the quality and impact of publications.

Required profile

• Proven track record in policy research and publishing.
• Extensive network of senior European officials and decision‑makers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
