Director, Investor Relations & Fundraising (DACH)

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Investor Relations & Fundraising for the DACH region, based in London. The role will lead institutional fundraising across Germany, Switzerland and Austria, working closely with senior leadership and investment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead institutional fundraising efforts across Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
• Develop and execute regional investor coverage plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective institutional limited partners.
• Partner with investment professionals and senior leadership throughout fundraising cycles.
• Support fundraising campaigns for flagship and adjacent strategies.
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences and industry events.
• Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives to expand the firm’s presence in the DACH market.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, capital formation or institutional sales.
• Proven track record covering institutional investors in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
• Existing relationships with pension funds, insurers, consultants, foundations and other institutional allocators.
• Strong understanding of private equity and alternative investment products.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Commercial, entrepreneurial and relationship‑driven approach.
• Ability to operate effectively within a global, collaborative environment.
