Director, Owner & Partner Relations (ME & Maghreb)

About the role

The Director, Owner & Partner Relations for the Middle East and Maghreb will lead strategic account management for a portfolio of owners, franchisees and hotel owners across EMEA. Reporting to the Regional VP and dotted line to the VP of Owner & Partner Relations, the role ensures brand compliance, drives fee revenue and supports franchise growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owners and partners, driving fee performance, ensuring brand standards, and monitoring renovation cycles.
• Lead contract renewal discussions, screen new operators and collaborate with development on franchise footprint expansion.
• Coordinate with Asset Management, Legal, Commercial and LPO to protect and enhance the company’s position during relicensing and contract changes.
• Provide guidance on Marriott commercial systems, tools and Pay‑to‑Play services, promoting adoption and commercial performance.
• Work closely with regional leadership (RVP, Sr Director of Ops, Sr Director of Commercial) to identify gaps, offer solutions and manage escalations.
• Communicate proactively with the broader EMEA Owner & Partner Relations organization to flag risks to contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior account or partnership management within the hospitality or franchising sector.
• Strong understanding of franchise contracts, brand compliance and renovation commitments.
• Ability to influence senior owners and franchisees and to work collaboratively across multiple internal disciplines.
• Excellent analytical and performance‑monitoring skills.
