Dispute Resolution Solicitor – Legal Director

About the role

This senior position sits within a Legal 500‑recognised Commercial Dispute Resolution team in London. You will lead high‑value litigation and arbitration matters for a diverse client base, working alongside a highly regarded group of specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload covering contractual, shareholder, professional negligence, directors' duties, fraud, IP, technology, property, construction and international arbitration disputes.
• Represent clients through all stages of litigation, arbitration, mediation and other ADR processes.
• Lead client meetings, negotiations and instruct counsel and expert witnesses.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, contributing to the team’s development.
• Drive business development and support the growth of the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 8 years PQE in commercial dispute resolution.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure rules and proven ability to manage complex cases independently.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation and client‑relationship skills.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and proactive business‑development mindset.
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers is highly regarded.
