Division Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Division Accountant to join the finance team of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. In this role you will act as a key financial business partner, delivering high‑quality insight that supports the Board’s financial objectives and contributes to the delivery of healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and insight to support decision‑making.
• Partner with service lines to help achieve the Health Board’s financial targets.
• Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for financial improvement and support innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in NHS finance or public‑sector finance is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and solve problems creatively.
• Commitment to personal and professional development.
