Domestic Abuse Preventions Worker

About the role
This position offers the chance to join a specialist domestic abuse prevention service that has been supporting individuals and families for over 50 years. You will deliver trauma‑informed behaviour‑change interventions, safeguarding support, risk assessment and casework for people who use abusive behaviour.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a trauma‑informed prevention service in line with contract requirements, policies and procedures.
- Safeguard partners, ex‑partners and children of service users.
- Facilitate one‑to‑one and group‑based behaviour‑change interventions.
- Support service users to develop respectful, non‑abusive relationships.
- Promote positive models of human relationships and hold people accountable for their actions.
- Assess, manage and review risks to clients, colleagues and yourself.
- Implement a whole‑family approach where appropriate.
Required profile
- Experience or interest in working with offenders, perpetrators of domestic abuse, or delivering behaviour‑change programmes.
- Willingness to undertake extensive training and ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work sensitively with vulnerable individuals and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Salary up to £27,417 pro rata per year plus benefits.
