Domestic Assistant – Care Home

About the role
As a Domestic Assistant at Osprey Court Care Home, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff. Your attention to detail will directly support the wellbeing, dignity and comfort of those living in the home.
Key responsibilities
- Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
- Support laundry services, handling personal belongings with care.
- Follow infection control, health and safety, and cleaning procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the wider care team to ensure a tidy and comfortable environment.
Required profile
- Positive, reliable attitude.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial; previous experience welcomed but not essential.
Required skills
What we offer
- £12.71 per hour.
- Full‑time or part‑time contracts with flexible shift times.
- Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full‑time contract).
