Domestic Assistant – Part‑time Evening Shift (NHS Scotland)

About the role
The NHS Scotland is seeking a reliable Domestic Assistant to join its hospital and health‑centre teams on an evening back‑shift. This part‑time position supports both clinical and non‑clinical areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a range of domestic services across all hospital and health‑centre departments.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards, health & safety regulations, infection‑control protocols, and national cleaning specifications.
- Support Audit Scotland and HAI task‑force requirements through diligent cleaning and record‑keeping.
- Work the scheduled evening shift: Monday‑Thursday 17:30‑20:00 and Friday 17:30‑19:30.
Required profile
- Possession of a CAP 40 qualification or equivalent domestic‑assistant certification.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Ability to work evenings on a consistent basis.
