Domestic Supervisor – Hotel Services

About the role

The Domestic Supervisor will lead the domestic services function across hospital and community premises, ensuring high standards of cleaning, infection control and a welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors. This is a part‑time role (22.2 hrs/week) with a shift pattern of Mon‑Thu 15:30‑20:00 and Fri 15:30‑19:43.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of domestic duties while supervising a team of domestic staff.
• Allocate tasks and duties to ensure all areas receive the agreed level of service.
• Purchase cleaning materials and consumables, maintaining awareness of budget limits.
• Manage stock handling, checks and safe storage of chemicals in line with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
• Support infection‑control measures and uphold cleanliness standards throughout the facilities.

Required profile

• Good interpersonal skills and personal hygiene.
• Experience working in a domestic role within the public sector.
• Basic IT proficiency.
• A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence.
