Door‑to‑Door Fundraising Canvasser

About the role

Charity Link is seeking enthusiastic canvassers to represent leading UK charities in door‑to‑door fundraising. You will work outdoors, engaging the public and encouraging regular monthly donations or lottery sign‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Cover a pre‑allocated postcode area, walking approximately one mile per hour.
• Approach households, explain the charity’s mission and secure direct‑debit donations or lottery entries.
• Use a company‑provided tablet to record donor information securely.
• Wear the charity‑branded uniform and maintain a professional, friendly appearance.
• Adhere to core working hours of 11 am‑7 pm, with particular focus on the twilight period (5 pm‑7 pm).

Required profile

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and self‑motivation to meet targets.
• Previous experience in door‑to‑door sales or other face‑to‑face sales roles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build instant rapport with the public.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Genuine desire to advocate for charitable causes.
