Drywall Installer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our construction team in Cambridge. You will work on residential renovation projects, ensuring walls are finished to a high standard while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowels and broad knives.
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs and joists.
• Secure sheets, smooth excess compound, and allow coats to dry.
• Apply tape over joints using a taping machine and embed the tape in compound.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of drywall installation experience.
• Physical ability to bend, crouch, kneel, stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg.
• Strong hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Client‑focused, dependable, reliable and a team player.
