E-Commerce Executive

About the role

Emirates Holidays, part of the Emirates Group, offers curated holiday packages to destinations such as Dubai, the Indian Ocean, the Far East, East Africa, South Africa and Australia. Its E-Commerce Executive helps customers discover, explore and book holidays online, supporting website content, digital merchandising, email marketing and campaign activity. The role is office-based, five days a week, working with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Systems and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support online revenue, conversion and commercial performance targets across digital channels
• Create, update and maintain accurate, engaging and SEO-optimised website content
• Merchandise destinations, offers and promotions across digital channels
• Build, schedule and deploy email campaigns, monitoring engagement and performance
• Review website performance and customer behaviour, and support A/B testing and customer journey improvements
• Check websites regularly so content, functionality and presentation stay accurate and aligned with brand standards
• Produce regular trading, campaign and website performance reports
• Work with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Systems and IT teams on campaigns and website issues
• Ensure digital content and campaigns comply with legal, regulatory and advertising requirements

Required profile

• Previous experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, online trading or a similar digital role
• Experience updating website content and supporting digital campaigns
• Good understanding of online sales, website performance and customer behaviour
• Strong attention to detail, confidence with data and reports, and good communication skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK

Required skills

• An edge: experience in travel, tourism, aviation or another consumer-facing digital environment
• An edge: SEO, content management systems or email marketing
• An edge: website analytics or reporting tools, A/B testing, knowledge of OTAs, online travel distribution or GDS
