Early Career Primary Teacher – Supply Roles

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to provide supply cover in primary schools across Blackpool and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible, day‑to‑day teaching assignments, allowing you to gain classroom experience while working towards a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons for EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Adapt teaching resources to meet the needs of diverse pupils.
• Collaborate with school staff to support curriculum objectives.
• Provide accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to obtain it.
• Positive, adaptable attitude with a passion for primary education.
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
• Willingness to work across multiple schools and settings.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and delivery for primary age groups.
• Assessment and feedback techniques.
• Effective use of classroom resources.
