Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary Schools

About the role
Randstad Education is partnering with primary schools across Liverpool to place newly qualified teachers in Early Career Teacher (ECT) positions. You will work either as a flexible daily supply or in a longer‑term role to complete your induction.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for EYFS to KS2 pupils.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour.
- Follow each school’s policies, curriculum frameworks and safeguarding procedures.
- Collaborate with mentors and senior staff to track induction progress.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – or pending qualification for trainees.
- Enthusiastic, energetic classroom presence.
- Strong desire to inspire young learners in a primary setting.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
