Early Years Practitioner – Full-time Temporary (Cheltenham/Gloucester)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Early Years Practitioner to provide high‑quality learning and support for nursery children in Cheltenham and surrounding areas. This term‑time only, temporary position runs from ASAP until the end of the academic year, offering a pathway to longer‑term or permanent roles.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons that promote early learning outcomes.
• Support pupils in developing social, emotional and behavioural skills.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and report on children’s progress and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure consistent care.

Required profile

• Recent experience working with children (within the last 5 years).
• Level 2 or 3 qualification OR QTS/EYPS qualification (essential).
• Early Years experience (desirable).
• Patient, resilient and relationship‑focused.
• Committed to delivering high‑quality learning outcomes.
