Early Years Teacher – Play‑Based Learning

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our team in Bournemouth. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive through play‑based learning, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, child‑centred learning activities aligned with EYFS.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Observe, assess, and monitor each child's progress and development.
- Support communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all children, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives.
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote child wellbeing.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (ECTs welcome).
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for creative, play‑based learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
