Education Solicitor – Specialist Education Law Role

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Education Solicitor to join our specialist Education Law Team. The role involves advising teachers, students, parents and educational institutions on a wide range of legal matters within the education sector.

Key responsibilities

• Case management: conduct cases efficiently and manage a varied caseload across primary, secondary, SEN/EHCP and university matters.
• Client representation: act for clients on admissions appeals, school exclusions, independent school disputes, EHCP applications, sexual allegation investigations and visa issues.
• Maintain the highest professional standards while ensuring cost‑effective service delivery.
• Utilise time‑recording systems and IT tools effectively.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with demonstrable experience in education law.
• Proven ability to handle complex cases involving multiple stakeholders.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, client‑focused legal advice.
