Electrical Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to lead a large‑scale electrical testing contract for a major social housing provider. Based in Hertford, you will head a high‑performing team, ensure statutory compliance and drive service excellence in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day delivery of the electrical testing contract, meeting KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead supervisors, engineers and administration staff, fostering collaboration and performance.
• Manage contract budgets, monitor financial performance and report to senior management.
• Attend client meetings, maintain strong relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Ensure health & safety standards and statutory compliance are consistently met.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Electrical Contracts Manager.
• Background in managing EICR, electrical testing or compliance contracts.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition) qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, budgets and client relationships.
• Residency within commuting distance of Hertford.
