Electrical Design Engineer – Site Based (South West England)

About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Plymouth, delivering complete electrical design packages from concept through detailed design for a range of infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver electrical design packages from concept to detailed design.
- Produce engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and technical substantiation for new installations, system modifications and infrastructure projects.
Required profile
- Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering electrical design packages within a highly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of low‑voltage (LV) and high‑voltage (HV) power distribution systems.
- Knowledge of BS 7671, IEC standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Proficiency with CAD and electrical design software.
