Electrical Engineer – Estates (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

You will join a market‑leading organisation that manages complex infrastructure and world‑class facilities. The role is a six‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension, focused on maintaining electrical systems safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on low‑voltage electrical systems (up to 400 V).
• Perform fault finding, inspection, testing and installation in line with current regulations.
• Support critical services such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, generators and building management systems.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and relevant electrical codes.
• Work flexibly, including shift patterns and occasional on‑call duties.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• Current 18th Edition qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of building services and health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
