Electrical Engineer – Path to Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a fast‑growing manufacturing and engineering company that designs bespoke E‑House substations and electrical submersible pump systems for clients across the UK and the Middle East. The role offers a clear progression path into Project Management, supported by in‑house training and a supportive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and technical requirements.
• Act as the primary electrical specialist for project teams.
• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of predominantly E‑House substations.
• Support occasional electrical pumping system projects for oil & gas, rail and renewable energy sectors.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent looking to advance into Project Management.
• Experience or strong interest in power‑system design, particularly E‑House substations.
• Motivation to work in a specialist manufacturing environment serving oil & gas, rail and renewable markets.
