Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing facility in Bristol. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly and minimizing downtime through rapid response to breakdowns.
Key responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance on a range of production machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on PLC‑controlled equipment.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Support continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety and food hygiene standards.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams.
Required profile
- Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
- Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced production setting.
- Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
