- Support planned maintenance and improvement programmes, including kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, heating system upgrades and communal lighting upgrades.
- Work closely with other trades to deliver refurbished homes to agreed Magna standards.
- Record and document all work accurately in the company's IT systems to comply with the NICEIC Competent Person Scheme.
- Join the out-of-hours on-call rota approximately once every 10 weeks, with a standby allowance.
Required profile
- Full qualification with an NVQ level 3, preferably 18th edition; City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Legal right to work and reside in the UK without employer sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Full driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, IT literacy and a customer-focused approach.
- A basic background in domestic properties is advantageous, but training and support are offered to others.
What we offer
- Salary of up to £43,450 per year, plus benefits and allowances.
- Annual leave starting at 5 weeks plus bank holidays, increasing over the first five years.
- Paid sick pay and a pension scheme with employer matching up to 8%.
- Learning and development support, and a paid day a year to volunteer.
- Enhanced parental leave depending on length of service.
- Access to a wellbeing portal, employee assistance, a health cash plan and discounts on entertainment and shops.
- Interest-free loan of up to £1,000 for house moving costs after one year, and a credit union partnership.
- 45p per mile for your own vehicle, and flexible working depending on the role.
