Electrician – Full Maintenance Training (Night Shift)

About the role
This is a full‑time night shift position (4 on / 4 off) based in Preston, supporting a multi‑billion‑pound manufacturing operation. You will start as a qualified electrician and, through structured on‑the‑job training, progress to become a multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on specialist manufacturing machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, supporting production uptime.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects and fault‑finding initiatives.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to develop mechanical and electrical competencies.
Required profile
- Qualified electrician seeking a career in maintenance engineering.
- Motivated to learn new engineering skills and pursue long‑term progression.
- Willing to work night shifts on a 4‑on/4‑off roster.
