Electrician – Full Time (Abingdon)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Electrician to join a small family‑run business serving the Oxfordshire area. You will be responsible for a variety of electrical works, from routine repairs to advanced solar PV and battery storage installations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general electrical repairs, upgrades and rewiring.
• Install and commission solar PV systems and battery storage solutions.
• Perform testing and inspection of void properties to ensure compliance.
• Deliver safe, compliant installations and adhere to industry standards.
• Progress to a leadership role, mentoring junior staff and setting quality standards.

Required profile

• Gold ECS card or equivalent qualifications.
• 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection and Testing certification.
• Valid UK driving licence, preferably with no penalty points.
• Ability to work independently, motivated and eager to develop within the company.
