Electrician – Inspection & Test (Industrial)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician / Electrical Technician to carry out electrical testing and inspection for industrial installations serving leading food, drink and pharmaceutical manufacturers in Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. The role is full‑time, days only, with a company van provided for travel to customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests on power, lighting, control panels, fixed wiring, switchgear and general installations.
• Identify and report required improvements or new installations.
• Travel to various customer sites across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, with travel time paid.
• Maintain accurate test records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Work 40 hours per week with higher‑rate overtime available after 40 hours.

Required profile

• Holder of an 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certificate.
• Qualified under C&G 2391 or an Electrical Test and Inspection certification.
• Experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
• Ability to work days only and travel to multiple sites.
